Crossing Points raises awareness about the various factors driving migration to the U.S. border and its effects. By combining visual journalism, social media, and conversational journalism, we created a series of unique stories that depict migration at the U.S/Mexico border.
This unique partnership brough together media orgnizations who together covered migration from every angle and had experience working all around the world. We zoomed in on the US/Mexico border and created over a dozen stories looking for new angles, formats and methods to explain migration.

Crossing Points took 8 months to produce - between April and November 2024. Engaged over 25 journalists, photographers, designers, reporters, editors, translators and developers from 6 countries. We worked in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California using cameras, drones, VR, 360 cameras but also illustrations and messenger tools to create those unique stories.
